Ms Debashikha Mazumdar,

The Unbroken Artist

Ms. Debashikha Mazumdar considers herself simply a positive person who takes whatever life throws with all her might. A fine arts teacher, singer, painter, and devoted mother, she paints and sings her way through challenges. Her artwork graces both December’s feature and the Second Innings calendar cover, embodying her“never say die” spirit.
Her Vibrant Journey

Positive spirit through all seasons

Life’s roads grew tipsy-turvy after 19 years caregiving for her husband with multiple myeloma until his 2022 passing, followed by her own breast cancer battle.

Yet she emerged disease-free, keeping busy with art, music, and cooking.

Her biggest strength, her family, anchors every step. Sangeet Visharad certified, she teaches fine arts to CBSE classes 9-12 in Delhi.

Creative World Unleashed

She sings, paints, and cooks with infectious joy, believing creativity conquers all. “Writing about oneself feels odd,” she shares humbly, yet her portraits and compositions reveal profound depth. Children thrive under her guidance. Her attached artworks speak louder than words, showcasing technical mastery and emotional resonance.

In her own words...

Ms Debashikha Mazumdar

"I've always found writing about oneself to be quite odd."

It's just I consider myself as a positive person and I take whatever life throws at me with all my might.

🎤🖌️🍳

I sing, I paint, I cook.

I believe in singing and painting my way into life. I keep myself busy.

Yes, the roads sometimes get tipsy-turvy with lots of boulders, but then the "never say die" attitude has always helped me to sail through.

My Biggest Strength

"My family"

Ms. Mazumdar proves resilience means staying busy and positive, no matter the boulders. Her never-give-up attitude sails her through, inspiring others to embrace life’s rhythm through song and canvas. Family fuels her, turning personal roads into shared celebrations.

✍🏽 This is my Tribute to her.

Honoured by your art and spirit, Ms. Mazumdar. You paint hope vibrantly, adorning our calendar while lifting every soul.
