Her Courageous Journey

From battles won to breakthroughs made

Since 2022, Ms. Saha has channeled her victories into purpose, mentoring PhD students on breast, colon, and lung cancers while publishing impactful papers.

Elevated to Associate Professor in April 2024, she guides ongoing research on apoptosis, lung cancer, colon cancer, and breast cancer, with four PhDs awarded under her wing since 2021.

Her strength during surgery and treatment showcases evolving Indian women’s resilience.

Research Renaissance

Her lab’s post-2022 feats include 2025 publications in Scientific Reports on Candida albicans drug repositioning, Molecular Omics on pathogenic pathways, and International Journal of Biological Macromolecules on colorectal cancer’s Wnt-catenin modulation by Fusobacterium nucleatum.

She delivered invited lectures on molecular diagnostics (Jan 2025), biophysics (March 2025), and breast cancer awareness (Oct 2025), while supervising 28+ dissertation students and interns. Her calendar image, a research paper on colon cancer methods, embodies her fightback.
